Coastal Adventures provides outfitted sea kayaking tours (day and half-day) from their base in Tangier along the Eastern Shore. They also offer extended tours (3-8 days) to the Atlantic coastal islands, the Cape Breton Highlands, the Bay of Fundy, the Louisbourg coast and the South Shore. Beginners are welcome. Introductory and advanced sea kayaking courses with BCU and Paddle Canada certified instructors are available. Family, youth and all-women programs are offered. We also rent equipment for those who wish to kayak on their own. Additional accessories for rent include cold water gear (wet suits, pogies, neoprene hoods and booties), compasses, tow ropes, paddle floats and VHF radios. A kayak centre, with a meeting room, washroom/shower facilities and outdoor hot tub are on site. Packages are also available at our Paddler’s Retreat Bed & Breakfast.  MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
