With a dual purpose to promote health and wellness and raise funds for three community-based organizations, the Cape Breton Dragon Boat Festival has become a signature event for Sydney’s waterfront. Each year, teams of paddlers and spectators from across Canada take part in this fun filled event.
On average, this event raises over $50,000 annually for our community. The 7th annual CB Dragon Boat Festival will take place on July 26-27, 2013 at the Sydney Marine Terminal.

Admission
Details: Participating teams register in advance for this event and pay a $1000.00 registration fee. Discounts are offered for early registration. Admission to attend the festival and experience the day's events is free.
