Boylston Provincial Park is located about 3 km north of Guysborough on Route 16 – an ideal place to camp while touring the Eastern Shore.  The wooded hilltop campground offers a spectacular view of Guysborough Harbour and features an interpretive display that relates the strange and improbably journey of the Zeno Narrative which is a medieval chronicle that tells of an epic voyage undertaken in the year 1398.  Nearby attractions include the Old Court House Museum (Guysborough), Grassy Island National Historic Site (Canso) and the Canso Museum: Whitman House.  The Canso Causeway is 65 km (40 mi) and Sydney is 90 km (55 mi) away.   The park offers 35 overnight sites (un-serviced), which includes a picnic area, interpretive display, and a stocked lake.  Wireless Internet access is available at the administration building only and the surrounding area (please see park receptionist for details). Other guest amenities: vault toilets, disposal station, fire grills, and wood. Leashed pets are permitted. MasterCard, Visa and Direct Debit are accepted.
