Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas; others are large parks with a variety of facilities. The Balmoral Mills Provincial Park is a small picnic park on Balmoral Brook, next to the Balmoral Grist Mill Museum in the Northumberland Shore region. Facilities include self-guided hiking / nature walks.
