Music and Dancing

Ceilidhs (pronounced kay-lees), get-togethers with music and dancing, are a staple of Cape Breton culture. Don’t be shy, ask someone to teach you some dance steps and join in. Better yet, break out your musical skills if you’ve got them. Nothing is more welcome in Cape Breton than a fellow performer.
