When you’re heading for a festival on the Dartmouth waterfront like the Nova Scotia Multicultural Festival, the easiest access from Halifax is via the ferries which drop you off just steps from the Festival. Fare is $2.00, less for seniors and students and the ferry runs every 15 minutes in the summer.

This three time Music Industry Association of Nova Scotia Event of the Year Recipient continues to be one of the best entertainment values in Atlantic Canada held in a premier outdoor amphitheatre overlooking the New Glasgow Riverfront.


The Jubilee promises music lovers the most intimate and engaging music experience of its kind. Each years' outstanding lineup continues to deliver on the Jubilee's proud tradition of setting the stage for this region's rising stars to perform alongside seasoned East Coast, Canadian and International acts.

Celebrating its 15th year, the New Glasgow Riverfront Music Jubilee will host multi-award-winning Blue Rodeo, Sloan, The Trews and other great local and national performers in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia from Friday, July 30 to Sunday August 1, 2010.

Admission: $20 plus service Fee Friday and Saturday. $30 plus service fee on Sunday. Weekend Pass $60 plus fees.
