Cape Breton's 12th annual Pride Festival is a 10-day event with activities catering to the LGBT community, with many events open to the general public. Visitors come from across Canada, the United States and around the world.  This year's festival runs from Friday, August 10 to Sunday, August 19.

The annual PRIDE Parade wll take place in downtown Sydney on Saturday, August 11 (12 noon) followed by our M&M Meat Shops BBQ. The festival will feature our Diva Delights drag show, PFLAG Family Day, Gay Bingo, both youth and adult Pride Dances, our ever popular MusicFest with many of Cape Breton's best musicians, our Beach Party CampOUT, and will finish with our PFLAG Spiritual Celebration.
