Join the 78th Highlanders, one of the most famous Scottish regiments in the British Army...in 1869.

You will be an impressive sight in the MacKenzie tartan kilt, bright red doublet, and Glengarry bonnet. The skirl of the bagpipes and the crack of your rifle will transport you to 1869 where you will learn the skills needed to defend this important port. It may be hot, it may be dusty, or it may be foggy and raining, but this is the life of a soldier!

The Queen's army provides soldiers with an authentic uniform, foot drills, firearms training (or drum training for soldiers under 16), an in-depth tour of your new home - the Halifax Citadel, and light refreshments.

Children (8-15) $175
