A one-day wedding band making experience for the bride- and groom-to-be!

So, you’re getting married... And because you were made for each other, why not make your wedding bands together? Wedding rings have long been exchanged as a symbol of everlasting love and Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design has a one-of-a-kind experience for you and your love: a one-of-a-kind couple.

Sizing will matter... Working exclusively with our Jewelry Instructor, you will start by choosing the weight and size of your bands.

Some like it hot... You and your spouse-to-be will turn up the heat by using the torch, and other tools and equipment in our state-of-the-art jewelry studio to heat and shape your rings.

Up close and personal... You will also solder your rings and hammer a design or texture on the surface of your bands, putting your own mark on each other’s rings.

A shining example... Once you’ve made your rings, you’ll learn how to use the polishing equipment to add the sparkle and enhance the brightness of your one-of-a-kind wedding bands.

DURATION: 6 hours

Price per couple: $300 + HST

Price does not include cost of materials. Silver starts at approximately $40 for two bands.

Minimum 2 weeks' advance booking required for basic silver rings and 3-4 weeks' notice for gold. Appointment notice and deposit required to allow for ordering precious metals used to make rings. Monday - Saturday, based on availability.
