Halifax 2011 Canada Games

Canada's best young athletes take centre stage from February 11-27 for Halifax’s first Canada Winter Games. Watch them compete in more than 20 sports at various venues around the city and nearby ski hills. While you’re here for the games, make sure to visit the many great attractions and experience festivals and events happening in Halifax and surrounding areas. Halifax Regional MunicipalityHalifax will be host to hockey, speed skating, figure skating, curling, gymnastics, ringette, boxing, archery, wheelchair basketball, synchronized swimming, badminton, squash and judo. Eleven venues stretching from Upper Tantallon to Cole Harbour will be home to a flurry of activity and excitement during the Canada Winter Games.
