Travel Planner Help

Using the Travel PlannerThe Travel Planner collects and automatically saves items of interest that you have found on novascotia.com. Each time you add an item to the travel planner it is indicated at the top of the web page. When you click on the travel planner widget at the top of the web page you are brought to the travel planner section of novascotia.com.

From the travel planner page you can manage itinerary, view itinerary, and view map. Click on the corresponding tab to use the desired feature.

You may create multiple itineraries within the travel planner section of novascotia.com.

Manage ItineraryThe items of interest you have chosen to add to your planner while browsing novascotia.com are displayed categorically (accommodations, attractions, festivals & events, outdoor activities). From here you can drag and drop each item into the desired day in the itinerary schedule below.

View ItineraryClicking the ‘View Itinerary’ tab allows you to view your itinerary. From here you can choose which day of your trip you would like to view, and print your itinerary.

View MapThe map feature allows you to see where your itinerary items are and get directions to them. Choose which day’s itinerary you would like to view from the box on the right of the map. Only selected day’s itinerary items will be visible.
