The Auberge Walker Inn (c 1865), located in historic Pictou along the Northumberland Shore region of Nova Scotia, invites you to experience the charm and elegance of a by-gone era. The Inn, a Registered Historical Building, achieves the perfect balance between the charm of a bed and breakfast and the privacy of an Inn. Our elegant guest sitting room is ideal for socializing with other guests, playing a games of chess, or curling up with a good book. Every floor of the inn attached to a deck.
Head outside to enjoy the sunshine and the fantastic view of Pictou, or just relax in our plant-filled environment. We are within walking distance to the town centre and Pictou's historic waterfront, where you can enjoy shops, pubs, restaurants, marinas, museums, as well as explore the Hector Heritage Quay and board the full-sized Ship Hector replica. Visit the town of New Glasgow, a 15-minute drive away, and take a stroll along New Glasgow's Riverfront to shop and dine, and enjoy one of the town's simmer festivals and entertainment at Glasgow Square.
Our accommodations include 10 rooms with twin, double or queen beds, and a private 3-piece bath (shower), as well as one ground-floor 1-bedroom suite with a queen and sofa bed and private 4-piece bath with whirlpool. Rooms include cable television, a telephone, and free wireless Internet. A light, complimentary breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. and a full breakfast is provided upon request. Guest amenities include a living room, conference facilities and parking.
