Train Station Inn, circa 1887, in Tatamagouche on the Northumberland Shore, offers a unique bed and breakfast experience with its spacious cabooses and furnishings reflecting its railway past. Each of the seven cabooses have been renovated into deluxe accommodations with railway memorabilia.

We are situated on the edge of the quaint village of Tatamagouche which is located on the Sunrise Trail along the shores of the Northumberland Strait. It is a thriving tourism community boasting art galleries, museums, craft shops, restaurants, cultural centre, and a marina. Other area attractions include Jost Vineyards in Malagash, which welcomes visitors year-round to its winery  store and vineyards, Rushton's Beach Provincial Park, and Fox Harbour Golf and Country Club. We're also an easy driving distance to skiing at Wentworth.

Accommodations include seven suites with queen beds in private air-conditioned cards, with private 3-piece baths (shower), cable television, mini-fridge and a coffeemaker, as well as a light-housekeeping 3-bedroom suite in the station with double beds, and a private 3-piece (shower) bath. A complimentary continental breakfast is served from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. in our licensed 1928 dining car restaurant. A full breakfast is also available.

Guest amenities include a gift shop, balcony, sitting rooms, meeting room, lounge car, and wireless Internet. Outdoor activities include running, cycling and nature walks on an old rail bed by the river.

Pets are permitted with advanced notice.
