Overview

Campers’ Haven Campground is an open and wooded campground situated on Trout Lake, 3 miles east of Yarmouth, in the Yarmouth and Acadian Shores region. We offer a wide variety of activities for the entire family. Our guests can enjoy swimming and fishing in Trout Lake, a 30 acre spring-fed lake which is stocked with trout every year. Yarmouth and its surrounding areas offer a variety of activities for visitors.  There are 5 golf courses within a one hour drive, beautiful parks, historic walks, fishing villages, museums, great shopping and restaurants and much more.  Nearby attractions include the Sweeny Fishery Museum, historic Seaport Sea Captain House Tour, Yarmouth County Museum, Firefighters’ Museum of Nova Scotia and the Cape Forchu Light station.

Our accommodations include 125 overnight sites (Electrical hookup: 15/30/50-amp, Water hookup, Sewage hookup), big-rig sites and unserviced. Guest amenities include flush toilets, free showers, washrooms, laundry facility, camp store, camping and RV supplies, free wireless Internet access, and pay phones. Special features include a solar-heated pool, hot tub, children’s playground, television, arcade, pool table, table tennis, chip-&-put, mini-golf, lake swimming, fishing, hiking trails as well as activities for children and adults (July and August). Pets are permitted if on a leash. Visa, MasterCard and Direct Debit are accepted.
