Overview
Boylston Provincial Park is located between the communities of Boylston and Guysborough – an ideal place to camp while touring the Eastern Shore. The wooded hilltop campground offers a spectacular view of Guysborough Harbour and features an interpretive display that relates the strange and improbably journey of the Zeno Narratives, which is a medieval chronicle that tells of an epic voyage undertaken in the year 1398. Nearby attractions include the Old Court House Museum (Guysborough), Grassy Island National Historic Site (Canso) and the Canso Museum: Whitman House. The Canso Causeway is 65 km (40 mi) and Sydney is 90 km (55 mi) away.
Our campground accommodations include 35 overnight sites (un-serviced), with a picnic area, interpretive display, and a stocked lake provides fishing opportunities. Wireless Internet access is available at the administration building only and the surrounding area (please see park receptionist for details).
