Discover the famous St. Peter's Canal and its tidal lock system specially designed to link the Atlantic Ocean to the Bras d'Or Lakes. Overlooking the canal, the Nicolas Denys Museum commemorates the life of a 17th century French explorer, trader and colonizer, Nicolas Denys of Tours.
This 3-bedroom cottage comes with double and queen beds, a 3-piece bathroom with shower, a full kitchen with microwave, and a 2-level deck. The cottage is centrally located in order to enjoy day trips to many famous Cape Breton attractions such as the Dundee golf course, the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, the Village of Baddeck - summer home of Alexander Graham Bell, several breathtaking coastal fishing villages along the Acadian regions of Isle Madame and Cheticamp, as well as the legendary Cabot Trail.
