A MacDonald Country Inn, situated in St. Peter’s on beautiful Cape Breton Island, provides historical charm with all the modern comforts of home. Our fully-licensed dining room offers a wide variety of choices to ensure all our guests are satisfied.
We are centrally located for you to enjoy day trips to many attractions and destinations that are within a few hours’ drive, including the Dundee Golf Club, the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, the Village of Baddeck and the legendary Cabot Trail. You can also find plenty to see within the town of St. Peter’s, including the famous St. Peter’s Canal and its tidal lock system - specially designed to link the Atlantic Ocean with the Bras d’Or Lakes- and the Nicolas Denys Museum, which commemorates the life of 17th-century French explorer, trader, and colonizer Nicolas Denys of Tours.
Our accommodations are all non-smoking and include 3 guest suites (King, Queen) and 5 guest rooms (King, Queen, Single). All come with an ensuite 3-piece bathroom with shower, cable television, in-room coffee/tea, and wireless Internet access. An iron and ironing board are available upon request. Guest features include room service, a licensed dining room, meeting room, and patio.

Cancellation Policy: Client must cancel 96 hours (4 days) prior to day of arrival for an 80% refund of the deposit or to avoid a credit card charge. Credit cards are charged immediately with one night stay. Same-day cancellation or day-of cancellations will be non-refundable if these rooms are not re-booked.
