A+1 At Fairhaven Bed & Breakfast is a peaceful retreat located on gorgeous Lake Charles, the largest freshwater lake in Dartmouth. Relax, swim and enjoy a four-star Canada Select accommodation in a unique and quiet country setting just minutes from the city.
Enjoy fantastic sunsets on your own private balcony by our boat house at the edge of Lake Charles. Our grounds offer beautiful English-style gardens with fish ponds, waterfalls and rippling streams. We are located on a lovely cul-de-sac in the Halifax Metro Area with ample off-street parking in a quiet residential area. We are just 15 minutes from downtown Halifax and 20 minutes from the Halifax International Airport. Come join us for your vacation and leave the worries of the world behind you.
Our accommodations include two rooms featuring Twin and Queen-sized beds: one with private 4-piece bath (jet tub); one with private 3-piece bath and a large sunroom overlooking the lake. Cable television, DVD player, phone, ceiling fan and hairdryer are available. A full breakfast is included and served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Access to a small motorboat, a canoe, waterskiing and other water sports is available. Enjoy country living in the city with your own wharf for private get-togethers. Check-in is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., check-out at 10 a.m.
