Cemetery at Pointe à Major

The small cemetery at Pointe à Major, or Major's Point, is a tribute to Joseph Dugas who led a group of about 100 people into the woods to hide from the British during the Acadian exile. They later settled the area of Belliveau's Cove, located nearby.
