Nova Scotia has a wealth of provincial parks. Some are small picnic areas, and others are large parks with a variety of facilities. Queensland Beach Provincial Park is situated in the South Shore region.  Although not large, this supervised beach (July and August) is one of the most popular on the South Shore. The warm air and sand draw large crowds, so arrive early on the hot days to find a parking spot. Park amenities include change rooms and vault toilets.
