Photographic Holdings:
Scope of Holdings
The collection consists of images of Dartmouth people, scenes and events with a few images from Halifax and the Eastern Shore. The Craig fonds from the late 1800s to early 1900s; the Billard fonds depicting 40 years in the life of the town, mid 1950s onward; and the Bell fonds, important for the meticulous photographic records kept by the photographer.

Approximately 16,000 images and two boxes of negatives.
