Combining sacred and social elements, Millbrook's annual pow-wow in August welcomes visitors. Dancers and drum groups come from across Atlantic Canada. Dinner in a Teepee Twitter Contest

What’s up for grabs: Two tickets to the Dinner in a Teepee event (a $300 value), at 7pm on Thursday, June 30 on the Halifax Common.

How to enter: All you have to do is log on to Twitter and retweet this tweet! The eligible time to enter ends Friday, June 24th at 11:59 p.m. (AST). On June 25th, we will randomly pick one of the people who retweeted and get in touch over Twitter so they can claim their prize! Contest is open to legal residents of Canada only (excluding Quebec).

Chef Ray Bear and the Mi’kmaq Association for Cultural Studies (MACS) is presenting Dinner in the Teepees on the Halifax Common, Thursday, June 30 from 7pm-9pm.

Be one of only 90 diners to savour a five-course, traditional Mi’kmaq meal in a unique atmosphere that will come alive with Mi’kmaq performers and the warmth of an open fire.

Ticket price : $150 per person with proceeds in support of MACS.
