Cynthia BraggI've got one of the best jobs in the world I think. No, I'm not Brad Pitt's massage therapist or a personal shopper for Sarah Jessica Parker. Okay, so maybe I've got the third best job depending on who's judging. In any case, I'm pretty lucky! Or so I've been told over and over by the people I meet. Why? Because I get to explore MY Nova Scotia and share it with the world! Tough gig if you can get it right?

I would argue that it is! It's overwhelming. I mean where do I begin? The more I learn about this province the more I can't wait t to explore more. Meet every friendly face, see every breathtaking landscape, try every outdoor adventure, sample every wine and delicacy, and just learn about the history of everything that has shaped us.

The possibilities are endless. Adventure is abounding and I have to slow myself down in order enjoy it. That's hard! So…how do I plan to do it all? One seascape at a time, one kayak, one hiking trail, one vineyard, one festival, one lobster boil up…lots of new friends and old characters, whales and wildlife, sunsets and sunrises, snapshots and stories. Nova Scotia is my oyster! I can't wait to share it with you all.

PS. Still reading? A little more about me. I'm a Canadian girl with Newfoundland roots who has lived all over this country and in a few others thanks to my military pops and patient mother. I've lived in Nova Scotia three times now, as a little girl in Sydney, as a student in Antigonish and now for the past 8 years in Halifax as a mother to a beautiful 10 year old girl (Claire). As I explore this beautiful province, I will do so sometimes for the very first time. So be prepared to share in my excitement because I guarantee I won't be able to contain it!

As Valentine's Day approaches thoughts turn to romance and Nova Scotia is naturally a very romantic place because it is shaped by the sea.

After the scenic Cape d'Or Lighthouse, I travel to Port Greville to the Age of Sail Museum. This Museum displays themes such as lumbering, shipbuilding, marine life and many items that immerse visitors in this great era of Nova Scotia's history.

If you have ever been to the Town of Oxford you've probably seen the friendly giant wild blueberry greeting you to the "Wild Blueberry Capital of Canada." Nova Scotia is the largest processor of wild blueberries in the world!

There's something about hiking along a shoreline in the fall that I enjoy. It must be the cooler temperature, or the scenery when the leaves have started to fall off the trees. The grass is still green and I need to be outside!
