Overview
The Islands Provincial Park is a popular picnic area on Shelburne Harbour, off Route 3, 5 km (3 mi) west of Shelburne, providing a restful stop on your trip around the South Shore. The park offers visitors a rocky beach, boat launch and a hiking trail to the town of Shelburne with its many museums, shops and picturesque charm. Area attractions include the Shelburne County Museum, Ross Thomson House, The Dory and the Barrington Woolen Mill.
Our campground accommodations include 70 wooded overnight sites (un-serviced). Park amenities include flush toilets, showers, disposal station, fire grills, wood, pop, and ice. Wireless Internet access is available at the administration building only and the surrounding area (please see park receptionist for details). Small unsupervised campers’ beach provides swimming opportunities. A Campground Host is on site. Leashed pets are permitted. MasterCard, Visa and Direct Debit are accepted.
