About the Winery
Visit us for a unique wine experience in our retail shop, a restored 180-year-old former church that was transported 40 kilometres over the highest tides in the world. Enjoy wine tastings of our award-winning wines, take a vineyard tour and visit during our special events, all offered with a personal touch. Our small lot wines are crafted with care and are sure to please… but don’t take our word for it.

The Restaurant at Avondale Sky Winery
Inspired by the vineyards and the surrounding bounty of the Annapolis Valley, our approach is simple: include seasonal fresh, local ingredients and let the flavours speak for themselves.
Menu highlights include our Lobster Tostada, featuring Afishinado lobster on a corn tortilla with cheese, shredded cabbage, pickled onion, and lemon spice crema. We also serve a charcuterie board showcasing local favourites such as Ratinaud’s cured meats, artisan cheeses, pickled vegetables, Tangled Garden jelly, dried fruit, and crostini. Our Smoked Salmon Board features Willy Krauch’s cold-smoked salmon paired with lemon, pickled onion, herbed cheese, capers, and crostini.
Open May through October each year, join us on the patio or in our circa-1837 church tasting room and restaurant for a light lunch or divine dinner where the team at Avondale Sky Winery and Restaurant will be sure to recommend the perfect wine to pair with your chosen meal. Wine tastings and tours can be arranged by pre-booking between November and April – please contact the winery to book.
Avondale Sky Sip, Stay, and Savour package
Discover the ultimate group getaway with a two night stay in The Farmhouse at Avondale Sky Winery where you’ll take part in an exclusive after-hours tasting experience with six small-lot and premium wines, some normally not available to the public!
Your tasting will also include pairings with artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and olives along with a guided vineyard tour and an exclusive behind-the-scenes winery tour. This Sip, Savour & Stay package is available year-round – visit our website to learn more and to book!
