A holiday shopper's complaint is one of long-standing ~Author Unknown

It's that time again when many of us turn our thoughts towards the holidays and go in search of that perfect, thoughtful gift for someone special. We've all felt the stress of holiday shopping at some point - so we think we all need a little reminder to throw cares away. Holiday markets are great for adding a dash of cheer to the whole shopping experience. So take a roadtrip to one of these markets, find some Nova Scotia apple cider to sip on, meet some local artisans and enjoy.

Of course we've got lots of shops to visit too! Visit downtown Halifax for some shopping under the stars and be sure to visit the local shops in any of the small towns you visit, where you are sure to find a locally made treasure or two!

Even the gazebo, where Th'YARC's strolling carolers charm the crowds, beams golden in the landscape.
